"Our Partner Trump"

It's all out in the open now: the collusion, the quid pro quo:

"Partner," or "asset," or "useful idiot," same thing at this point.

Reactions To Trump's Treasonous Performance In Helsinki

Twitter is lighting up about Putin puppet Donald "Rump" Trump's treasonous performance at the news conference following his performance review with Russian thug Vladimir Putin (a.k.a., #treasonsummit). These are a few:

Quote Of The Day

The simple truth is that the Republicans welcomed a foreign government interfering in the election on their behalf. They knew and they were happy about it and they are now doing everything in their power to cover it up. There is no other way to look at it.
Republican leaders were so hungry to kill people on Medicaid, bankrupt the middle class and give tax cuts to their millionaire friends that they knowingly allowed a foreign government to help that corrupt, incompetent imbecile into the White House. Think about that.
I feel sick.
 Us, too.

Quote Of The Day - What's That Smell?

“There’s a smell of treason in the air. Imagine if J. Edgar Hoover or any other FBI director would have testified against a sitting president? It would have been a mind-boggling event.” -- Presidential historian Douglas Brinkley in the Washington Post, March 20, after the House Intelligence Committee hearing on Russia's interference on their asset Donald "Rump" Trump's behalf in the 2016 election.

Today's Cartoon - Unpresidential Treason

Unpresidented neo- fascist Putin poodle Donald "Rump" Trump won't be the first Republican president to have committed treason.  Tricky Dick beat him by 49 years.

Yeah, some fat guy in New Jersey.  (Hmmm. Anybody seen Chris "Krispykreme" Christie lately?)

Headline of the Day - Treason Edition

"Poll:  29% Think Armed Rebellion Might Soon Be Necessary"

That includes a plurality of Rethuglicans (44%!!), as well as some "Democrats" who clearly are either confused as to their party identification or are off their meds.  Well done, Fox "News," hate radio, Tea Party, Koch brothers, crackpot right-wing bloggers, and pin-headed Rethuglican blowhards everywhere.  You've done your job well!

A Tale of Two Republicans

Respected conservative Republican Sen. Dick Lugar (R-IN) gets defeated in his primary by a tea party/plutocrat candidate, and now comes this scrap of shite from Ponch (!) McPhee, a treasonous dirtbag in Virginia:
"[W]e shall not have any coarse [sic] but armed revolution should we fail with the power of the vote in November," McPhee writes. "This Republic cannot survive for 4 more years underneath this political socialist ideologue."

What makes this more than the usual inbred right-wing Cooter tippy-tapping in his underwear is the fact that said McPhee is editor of the Greene County Republican Committee newsletter, in which this appeared. (Would that be the Secret Service knocking on your door, "Ponch?") Really, though, considering the hateful, insane bile that has been pumped out of hundreds of radio stations and Fox "News" every day for decades, it's no wonder that the McPhees of the world prosper, while the Dick Lugars get unceremoniously canned.

Bachmann Overdrive

Rep. Michelle "Anti-American" Bachmann (Loon-MN) is at it again, dog whistling to her fellow loons and listeners of Sean "Manatee" Hannity's radio rant to revolt against the elected government of the United States. Hmmm... last time we checked that was, uh, treason. Apologists want to parse the loon's rant to mean a "peaceful" revolution, but to the mental defectives that take their instructions from the likes of Bachmann and Hannity, it could easily be taken as a call to violence against the government. Tim McVeigh, anyone?

Let's see how long it takes for the "leaders" of her party to rein her in. Once again, as we always caution when it comes to reining in extremist rhetoric by the far right, don't hold your breath.
