Trump's "Public Nervous Breakdown" Continues

Manic lashing out, disordered thought process, deranged J6 accusations ... preceded a half hour earlier by a "truth" about the "BEGINNING OF THE END" of the NFL.  Oh yes, he's perfectly sane! (click on images to enlarge)

Trump's "Public Nervous Breakdown" Continues

Here's a tiny sampling of what the Very Stable Genius unserious man was regurgitating on his tanking social media platform recently:

We won't even touch the vile, misogynist "re-truth" he recently posted (we won't link to it either).  His despicable, law- breaking photo op visit to Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday is also the subject of righteous outrage from a wide swath of the public, including veterans (also here and here).

In her acceptance speech at the DNC, our next President, Kamala Harris rightly referred to the Malignant Loser as an "unserious man" whose return to the White House would have serious consequences.  Reading these postings -- with all their narcissism, lies, misdirection, fatuousness, gaslighting, and hateful ignorance -- demonstrates both those points quite well.

Trump's "Public Nervous Breakdown" Continues

The racist convicted felon Malignant Loser was campaigning yesterday in Wilkes-Barre, PA, struggling mightily to stay "on message."  Once again, he lost it:

Donald Trump tried to reset his campaign at a rally in battleground Pennsylvania on Saturday as polls show Kamala Harris pulling ahead in key swing states.

But the former president quickly broke away from the prepared speech about economic issues to launch personal attacks on Harris including accusations that her agenda is both communist and fascist, and that she has “the laugh of a crazy person”.

Trump’s written speech before a mostly filled [Ed.: hmm, see pic above] 8,000-seat indoor arena in Wilkes-Barre focussed on economic policy, although a part of the audience left before he finished speaking. Some Republican strategists had hoped the former president could regain the initiative by zeroing in on issues on which opinion polls say voters have greater trust in Trump than the Democrats, such as inflation...  (Ed.: not so fast there, stat boy) [snip]

... Trump once again veered repeatedly away from the script with rambling discourses from immigration to China and trans people, often based on outright falsehoods.

At one point, he even acknowledged that was what he was doing.

“They’ll say he was rambling. I don’t ramble. I’m a really smart guy, you know, really smart. I don’t ramble. But the other day, anytime I hit too hard, they say he was rambling, rambling,” he said. [snip]

Trump also challenged Harris’s legitimacy as the Democratic presidential candidate, describing it as “a coup” against Biden.

“Joe Biden hates her. This was an overthrow of a president,” he said.

Trump confused some in the audience with what appeared to be a claim that if Harris could become the candidate without a primary election, then so should he because he is so popular among Republicans.

“I said, so why are we having an election? They didn’t have an election. Why are we having an election?” he said...

Then he repeated his anti- Semitic calumny about Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Jewish voters:

“They turned him down because he’s Jewish. That’s why they turned him down. Now, we can be politically correct and not say that. I could say, well, they turned him down for various reasons. No, no, they turned him down because he’s Jewish,” said Trump.

“And I’ll tell you this, any Jewish person that votes for her or a Democrat has to go out and have their head examined.”...

We think we know who should have their head examined, Very Stable Genius.

He also had something that would only come from a narcissist with a broken brain:

... "I say that I am much better looking. I'm a better looking person than Kamala," Trump declared to the crowd, responding to a critique he had read from a Republican commentator.

According to Trump, the commentator suggested that one of Harris' greatest assets in this election was her attractiveness. "She said, Kamala has one big advantage, that she's a very beautiful woman," Trump recounted, before dismissing the notion with his own assessment of their relative appearance...

The demented gibberish -- the clear evidence of mental disease and decline -- and the self- absorbed, ignorant, hateful, and racist rhetoric are the Trump brand now, and will be through the election as the prospect of defeat and legal accountability loom larger and larger.

Trump's "Public Nervous Breakdown" Continues -- Press Mess

Not surprisingly, the sundowning Malignant Loser, desperate to be back in the spotlight, had a hot mess of a meeting with the press yesterday in his Mar-a-Lardo hidey hole, which we fortunately missed. Unfortunately, Vanity Fair's Bess Levin had to watch so she could write it up.  Here are some extended excerpts from her observations:

Amidst reports that he has become unglued by having to compete with Kamala Harris for the presidency, Donald Trump held a press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday. And if the goal was to reassure people that (1) he is not at all freaked out by the vice president’s rising poll numbers and (2) he is the best candidate for the White House, he was not exactly successful!

Trump repeatedly insulted Harris’s intelligence, calling her “barely competent,” saying that she “can't do a news conference” because “she’s not smart enough,” and claiming that she’s “not as smart” as Joe Biden. (As a reminder, Trump thinks there were airports during the Revolutionary War and that it’s safe to inject bleach into the body; he’s also been described as an idiot by numerous people who worked for him.)

As has become a recurring feature of his public remarks, the ex-president also spent time insulting Jewish Americans, saying if they vote for Harris, “they should have their head examined.” He baselessly claimed that Harris, who is married to a Jewish man, has been “very bad to Jewish people.” And, after claiming yesterday that Harris’s decision to pick Tim Walz as her running mate over Josh Shapiro was a snub to Jewish people—and that Shapiro would have been a stronger running mate—he said Shapiro is “a terrible guy and he’s not very popular with anybody.”...

Yada yada barks at the moon.  He's clearly not well.

Levin did her best to catalogue a few of the most egregious lies and weirdness coming from the pathologically lying racist convicted felon's mouth:

  • That the “majority” of the country supports him (in fact, he lost the popular vote in both 2016 and 2020)
  • That Democrats “are allowed to do abortion on the eighth and ninth month, and even after birth” (Democrats neither allow nor support abortion “even after birth,“ which is murder)
  • That “nobody was killed on January 6” (seven people died in connection to the attack, including Trump supporter Ashli Babbit)
  • That there was a “peaceful transfer” of power after the last election (See: January 6)
  • That Harris is “going to destroy Social Security” (she and Biden have said they will not make any cuts to the program, whereas Trump has talked about “cutting” entitlements, before walking back his comments)
  • That his Manhattan criminal trial was run by the Justice Department (it was the Manhattan district attorney’s office)
  • That he disapproved of the “lock her up“ chants about Hillary Clinton (in fact, he personally called for her imprisonment on at least seven occasions, including during the 2020 election when he wasn’t even running against her)
  • That Harris “couldn’t pass her bar exam” (she did, on the second try, and was admitted to the California bar the year after she graduated law school)
  • That “everybody’s going to be forced to buy an electric car” if Democrats win in 2024 (Just…no)

One whopper/ fever dream Ms. Levin didn't note was the Malignant Loser's tale of nearly dying in a helicopter crash.  The Daily Beast enters the tangled web:

A hair-raising story Donald Trump told about almost dying in a helicopter ride alongside Kamala Harris’ ex-boyfriend Willie Brown is completely untrue, Brown said.

The former president told the dramatic tale during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday when asked about how Harris’ relationship with Brown, the former San Francisco mayor, may have affected her career. “Well, I know Willie Brown very well,” Trump answered. “In fact, I went down in a helicopter with him.” [snip]

Every aspect of Trump’s account is wrong, according to Brown.

The 90-year-old told The New York Times that he’d never ridden a helicopter with Trump, nor had he ever been close to death during any trip in a chopper. “You know me well enough to know that if I almost went down in a helicopter with anybody, you would have heard about it!”

Brown dated Harris between 1994 and 1995 when he was the speaker of the California State Assembly and Harris was a prosecutor in Alameda County. He remains a supporter of hers and denied ever having told Trump “terrible” things about her.  [snip]

It appears that Trump was referring to a helicopter flight he took with Jerry Brown, the former governor of California, and Brown’s successor Gavin Newsom, in 2018. The group were surveying damage from the Camp Fire to the town of Paradise in the Sierra Nevada foothills.

“I call complete B.S.,” Newsom told the Times. “I was on a helicopter with Jerry Brown and Trump, and it didn’t go down.” Trump had mentioned the possibility of crashing repeatedly however, he said. He also claimed they did not discuss Harris on the helicopter.

“There was no emergency landing and no discussion of Kamala Harris,” Jerry Brown told the Times through a spokesman.

Willie Brown, Jerry Brown.  We all know the Malignant Loser doesn't see a person's color, amirite?  We suspect if anything remotely like this happened, we would have heard the Tale of Brave DonOld right then and there.

Oh, did we mention he's clearly not well?  Though this kind of demented gibberish has become his brand over his public life, it's now devolving into even worse demented gibberish as his desperation and mental incapacity grow.  In a way, though, it's rather satisfying to see how rattled the shitgibbon is now that he sees the election slipping away from him.  That's tempered by the thought that he could somehow manage to slither into office again, if the media ignores his incapacity (unlike the one- sided focus they put on President Biden).  We have work to do to see that never happens.

Other reactions here, here, and here, if you're so inclined.

Trump's "Public Nervous Breakdown" Continues

These "Truth Social" posts yesterday from the racist convicted felon Malignant Loser -- the puerile attacks, the completely demented conspiracies, the Big Lie, the racism -- speak for themselves.  No other President or former President has ever demonstrated his utter mental incapacity so plainly, so often.

Now compare the ranting of an unstable loon with what you've heard from the Democratic ticket of Harris- Walz.  Of the many choices Americans will make in November, not the least of which will be normal vs. abnormal (click to enlarge):

Trump's Glass House: Mental Decline

Mentally unstable sociopath Donald "Moron Vector" Trump and his campaign are preparing to smear his likely Dem Presidential opponent Joe Biden with suggestions that he's suffering from mental decline. Trump TV is actively aiding with that smear, but Comedy Central's Trevor Noah and his team have put together a look a Trump who is clearly exhibiting decline in his own mental faculties. They cleverly juxtapose Trump TV's comments about Biden with shocking clips of Trump exhibiting what they're saying is Biden's problem:

Trump may want to reconsider his smear strategy on this one, because people who live in glass houses.....

Trump's A Dangerous Madman, Part Infinity

At yesterday's "social media summit" far right- wing nutfest, head nut Donald "Rump" Trump rambled -- often incoherently -- for about an hour, airing various grievances about the media and social platforms he would have us believe are biased against him and his fellow constantly aggrieved nuts.  This is a subject Rump is particularly interested in, since he spends the bulk of his time as "president" getting guidance from Fox "News" and composing ignorant, inflammatory tweets (or, well, golfing).

On the topic of his tweets, Rump went into fair detail as to just how much he's obsessed with his Twitter following and the likes he gets:
And it was so different than it was even six, seven months ago. I was picking up unbelievable amounts of people. And I’m hotter now than I was then, OK? Because you know, you also cool off, right? You do. But I’m much hotter. Especially with a nice, new stock market like it is. Right?
But no. I’m hotter now, and I go to Dan, I say, “Hey, what’s going on here?” It used to take me a short number of days to pick up 100,000 people. I’m not complaining; we’re like at 60-some-odd million. But then we have five different sites. We have another site with 25 million. We have another site with 10 or 12. Then we have Facebook. Then we have Instagram. We have a lot!
We got a lot of people. Way, way over 100 million, but I used to pick them up… And when I say “used to,” I’m talking about a few months ago. I was picking them up, a hundred thousand people every, very short period of time. Now, it’s, I would say, ten times as long. And I notice things happening when I put out something—a good one, that people like, right? Good tweet. It goes up. It used to go up, it would say 7,000, 7,008, 7,000, 7,017, 7,024, 7,032, 7,044. Right?
Now it goes, 7,000, 7,008, 6,998. Then they go, 7,009, 6,074. [Audience boos] I said, “What’s going on?” Now, it never did that before. It goes up, and then they take it down. Then it goes up. I’d never had that. Does anyone know what I’m talking about with this? [Audience screams “yes”] I never had that before. I used to watch it. It’d be like a rocket ship when I put out a beauty. Like when I said, remember I said somebody was spying on me? That thing was like a rocket. I get a call two minutes later: “Did you say that?”
I said, “Yeah, I said that.”
“Well, it’s exploding. It’s exploding.”
Please keep in mind this is how he's spending his time and what's important to him (i.e., "him").

Not surprisingly, as with most other things, Rump's concept of "free speech" is disturbingly odd:
See, I don’t think that the mainstream media’s free speech, either. Because it’s so crooked. It’s so dishonest. So to me, free speech is not when you see something good, and then you purposely write bad. To me, that’s very dangerous speech, and you become angry at it. But that’s not free speech. Somebody came to my office, I won’t say who, but a very big person. And I said OK, you don’t like the term fake news, which I think I get credit for. But I’m sure, if I said I get credit, they’ll say, “Thirteen years ago somebody came up with a term.”
I think I get credit—I’d be very proud to take it.
But I think I get credit...
But, he digresses:
We had, on the Mall just the other day, 4th of July, a tremendous success. It was pouring. The weather was just… It was beautiful in one way. They learned it was my real hair that day, because I was drenched. Well, that is the one good thing. I ran, and they learned it’s my hair.

Because I’ve been through every windstorm, sandstorm. Let’s go over here. Let’s go. This one, that one. This desert. Let’s go to this ocean, and get out of the plane, sir. The wind is blowing at about 70 miles an hour. I said, “Boy, it’s gotta be… It’s gotta be mine.”

But, uh, but we’ve seen it all. We’ve seen it all.
Oh, we've seen it all, too. Enough to say where's the 25th Amendment when you need it? This is so far from normal that it passed normal heading south four years ago.

There's more at the link above, if you feel you need to see additional evidence of an authoritarian, narcissistic, sub- par mind undergoing very public deterioration.

John McCain once said Russia was a gas station with nuclear weapons.  Unfortunately for us, you can also say the White House is a psychiatric hospital with nuclear weapons.  And everyone's humoring the madman with the button.

BONUS: Trump got one thing right when he addressed his assembled nutbags: "The crap you think of is unbelievable."

Trump Fails At Smear Of Pelosi

In a doomed-to-backfire smear of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a clumsily doctored video purporting to show Pelosi slurring her words and appearing inebriated has been circulated on social media by members of extremely stable genius and dotard Donald "Not Exonerated" Trump's cult. The Washington Post has done a side-by-side comparison of the original video and the doctored one to demonstrate the obvious fraud. That didn't stop Trump and the despicable Rudi "Ghouliani" Giuliani from retweeting it. Before they go down that road, they might want to consider Trump's own history of public speaking in undoctored videos.

When the Speaker (and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer) reported that Trump threw a tantrum at the earlier infrastructure meeting, the king of projection went out of his way yesterday to enlist the unbiased testimony of a handful of his intimidated toadies that he was "calm" at the meeting. Yes, because we always associate calmness with this dangerous moron.

The Speaker knows the buttons to push to get Trump to perform, while living rent-free in his less than genius mind.

But We Knew That

And it's not just the constant, over-the-top lying. Mental health experts believe Trump's mental condition is deteriorating, with signs of confusion (father born in U.S. not Germany, Tim "Apple," referring to non-existent judges) and word mashing ("oranges" for "origins", etc.). Psychologist Dr. John Gartner thinks Trump is showing signs of pre-dementia.

So as the lies pour forth, his mental stability decreases, putting us all in danger from both.

QOTD: Trump's Mental Deterioration

"His dangers are no longer probable but demonstrable: his attraction to cruel and violent policies; his effectiveness in inciting violence; his stripping of moderating forces; his pursuit of a position of power without appropriate qualifications; and his shaping of the national and international culture after his own mental state—all fit the pattern of well-known, dangerous personality structures.

Since there is no rational strategy underneath it all, granting him what he wishes was bound to cause him to deteriorate and to cause devastation to the nation—we have not yet seen the end. That is why mental health professionals have been warning against this presidency as a part of our societal responsibility." -- Yale psychiatry professor Dr. Bandy X. Lee, in a Raw Story interview, describing the danger of sociopath and malignant narcissist Donald "Rump" Trump's increasing mental impairment.

Lee joins dozens of other mental health professionals in calling for a capacity evaluation of Rump's ability to function in his position. In 2017's  "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President", psychiatrists warned that Rump's mental condition was more ominous that recognized by the public, and that it would deteriorate over time resulting in an uncontainable personality.

We've discussed (here and here, for example) the mental health community's "duty to warn" society about a person's mental instability especially if that person represents a threat to the public. With the supposed "guardrails" eliminated to keep Rump in the most tenuous check, he'll be even more reckless and deranged as the legal and political walls close in on him.  Putting country over party will be the least of it; putting survival over destruction may be the choice.
