We bid farewell to April and thus to the celebration of treason in defense of slavery. T.S. Eliot famously wrote that "April is the cruelest month," and it certainly is for those of us who have to watch the annual spectacle of racist Confederate flag-wavers and history revisionists who believe in their twisted minds that the right side lost the war.
