Epstein Survivors Hearing Today In Florida

Democrats aren't letting the Malignant Fascist and his lowlife enablers put the Epstein files down the memory hole, despite their frantic efforts to do so.  From Scripps News:

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee will be in Florida Tuesday to hold a hearing with survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. It's what's known as a shadow hearing, one organized by the minority party, and it's the first time we will hear from survivors testifying publicly under oath about what happened to them.

Scripps News spoke with survivor Marina Lacerda, who now lives in the area, about what it's like to bring this issue to her backyard.

"I feel that Congress wants to come in and definitely help us out," she said. "I think that while we have the Trump administration, I don't think we're going to go anywhere with this, to be honest with you. I think we're going to have to wait for this administration to leave in order for us to even start criminally charging or start to even take any type of action in this case."

"Sometimes when we do get together, the survivors, the Florida girls, we try not to bring this up, right? Because it's something in the past, right? And we talk about it all the time," she said. "I live far from West Palm, so I don't feel that heavy energy. I just feel like when I meet with my survivor sister here in Florida I can feel that sometimes it's hard for them to get through, but I feel like they're doing such a great job still living here."

Her fellow survivors are "both happy and a little bit upsetting to having to go back to a place where they were abused," Lacerda said. "But they are happy that this hearing is happening. I think it's most important for this generation to see how the grooming was happening and with  the school and also for parents to realize and understand how predators can work."

"It's time to drop the rest of the files," Lacerda said. "It's time for us to really start not putting hearings together but to really, really start investigating these perpetrators."

Lacerda told Scripps News she will be in attendance at Tuesday's hearing, where a handful of survivors are expected to speak. As of Monday afternoon, Democratic lawmakers have not released the full witness list.  (our emphasis)

These hearings need to go nationwide and get maximum coverage lest the short attention span of the public and the media allow the convicted sexual abuser MF and his fellow felons get away with yet more crimes.

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

The good:

CNN data analyst Harry Enten was left floored Sunday after new polling showed President Donald Trump’s support among independents has plummeted to staggering lows just shy of a year into his second term.

According to the new data, Trump’s net approval rating among independent voters fell by a stunning 42 points from January to December, from -1 to -43, a drop so severe that Enten compared the president to French oceanographer and filmmaker Jacques Cousteau, known for his undersea expeditions.

“We're talking about 43 points underwater come December, that is a decline of 42 points on his net approval rating!” Enten exclaimed. “Donald Trump is hanging out with Jacques Cousteau; that is how far underwater Donald Trump is with independents at this point!”

Driving Trump’s plummeting approval ratings were two key issues: the economy and immigration. On the economy, Trump enjoyed a +9 approval when he took office in January, an approval that fell by 25 points to -16 by December. On immigration, Trump’s approval fell by 15 points in the same time period, from +9 in January to -6 by December.

On overall approval, Trump suffered an 18-point decline from January to December. And, based on history, Enten concluded that it was likely Trump’s party would suffer a major defeat in the upcoming midterm elections.

“Based upon history, it doesn't look too good for the man in charge of the White House right now,” Enten said.  (our emphasis)

"The man in charge of the White House."  Stephen Miller?  Oh, he means the Malignant Fascist!  No, and it's only going to get worse because the truths will eventually come out on the Epstein files, and the economy will continue to suffer job-losing stagflation thanks to the dimbulb's 19th Century politico- economic philosophy.  Though we live in stupid times, enough voters are wising up in time for the mid-terms and beyond.

The bad:

Across the United States, someone is missing.

One year into President Trump’s immigration crackdown, construction firms in Louisiana are scrambling to find carpenters. Hospitals in West Virginia have lost out on doctors and nurses who were planning to come from overseas. A neighborhood soccer league in Memphis cannot field enough teams because immigrant children have stopped showing up.

America is closing its doors to the world, sealing the border, squeezing the legal avenues to entry and sending new arrivals and longtime residents to the exits.

Visa fees have been jacked up, refugee admissions are almost zero and international student admissions have dropped. The rollback of temporary legal statuses granted under the Biden administration has rendered hundreds of thousands more people newly vulnerable to removal at any time. The administration says it has already expelled more than 600,000 people.

Shrinking the foreign-born population won’t happen overnight. Oxford Economics estimates that net immigration is running at about 450,000 people a year under current policies. That is well below the two million to three million a year who came in under the Biden administration. The share of the country’s population that is foreign born hit 14.8 percent in 2024, a high not seen since 1890.

But White House officials have made clear they are aiming for something closer to the immigration shutdown of the 1920s, when Congress, at the crest of a decades-long surge in nativism, barred entry of people from half of the world and brought net immigration down to zero. The share of the foreign-born population bottomed out at 4.7 percent in 1970. Stephen Miller, a top adviser to Mr. Trump, has extolled those decades of low immigration as the last time the United States was “an undisputed global superpower.”

Whether or not restrictions will restore some of what Mr. Miller views as a midcentury idyll, there’s little doubt that major changes are in store. Immigration has woven itself so tightly through the country’s fabric — in classrooms and hospital wards, city parks and concert halls, corporate boardrooms and factory floors — that walling off the country now will profoundly alter daily life for millions of Americans... (our emphasis)

Trump and his regime's monsters are inexorably changing the fabric of America for the worse, and doing it a cruel, arbitrary, and lawless way that will be a stain on our country for as long as it exists. On this and too many other fronts, we're the bad guys now, thanks to him.

The ugly:

By the mid-2000s, Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of teen girls was routine. From 2002 to 2005 alone, the late financier victimized “dozens” of underage teens by luring them into sex acts for payment under the auspices of massage work, some as young as 14, prosecutors said.

Epstein leaned on a coterie of employees and associates – including British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell – to secure a “steady supply of minor victims”. He also enlisted his victims to recruit other girls under the false pretense of providing massages, prosecutors said.

While the breadth of Epstein’s crimes is well-documented, papers in recently unveiled investigative files from the Department of Justice have put into sharper relief how he and his associates had an almost assembly line-like process for procuring victims.

These documents – released over the past week by a Trump administration under intense political pressure from both Democrats and Republicans – also make clearer how girls and young women were perceived as commodities: mere bodies meant to serve a predator’s twisted predilections – and possibly those of his associates.

One document from 2001 described how Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for aiding Epstein’s crimes, accosted three female students on a Palm Beach, Florida, college campus.

“Maxwell said she needed young, beautiful unmarried women to answer phones and do office work at her home on Palm Beach,” a police report stated. At least one of the students went to the house on several occasions and “described the telephone calls as men call[ing] in saying when they were going to drop of[f] particular girls”.

“All three girls said Maxwell and Epstein were secretive about what was going on at the house, and at least two of the girls complained about Epstein touching them inappropriately. They said Maxwell asked for a list of other girls who she could call to work on short notice,” the report continued. Maxwell “said she needed a large pool of girls to call as she did not know how many she would need at any given time”... (our emphasis)

These new reports on the Malignant Fascist's bff Epstein's and his assistant and chronic liar Ghislaine Maxwell's method of procuring victims are damning enough that they should put an end to Maxwell's attempt to get a new trial.  In a better country, they'd be more than enough to send her back to the prison where she was serving her sentence before the MF had her sent to a "Club Fed" in exchange for her lying to the MF's lawyer Todd Blanche that she never saw the MF doing anything untoward.  One of the first acts of a Democratic administration must be to send this evil person back to the prison where she belongs.

Thank You For Your Attention To The Latest Distraction

The ever more inane distractions just keep on coming!  Here's the latest such emanation on his failing social media platform from our hopped-up Very Stable Genius (including his recent formulation that, like his Epstein-procured dates, our Country is the "HOTTEST"):

Note how, as the ahistorical, racist white nationalist that he is, he doesn't want museums to say "how bad Slavery was" !?!

He's promising another shakedown, this time of museums just like previous shakedowns of media, law firms, corporations, and colleges and universities.

Will no one rid us of this meddlesome moron? *  Release the Epstein files!

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

The good:

The leader of the Texas Democrats chided the state's MAGA-aligned governor on Sunday.

Texas state Democratic Rep. Gene Wu, who chairs the Texas House Democratic Caucus, talked about the redistricting fight occurring in Texas on MSNBC's "The Weekend: Primetime." He described the efforts as a way to distract from much more substantive conversations about the state of American politics.

"They're desperate to talk about anything other than,' Why are you lying, cheating, and stealing from the American people?'" Wu said. "That's the question they don't want to answer. That's the question they want the public to stop asking."

Texas Democrats fled the state to break quorum at the legislature and prevent state Republicans from passing a new election map that would eliminate five Democratic seats. The lawmakers have sought refuge in Illinois.

Texas' Republican Gov. Greg Abbott has threatened to have the Democrats arrested when they return to the state. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has also filed several "nonsense" motions in courts in Illinois and California, Wu said.

"They're going to throw everything they have at us," Wu continued. "Every nonsense thing that they can do in court, they're going to do it."

Wu added that recent public statements from Abbott show the Republican majority in Texas is getting desperate. The Trump administration has been putting pressure on state legislatures to redistrict their maps so the GOP can maintain a majority in Congress following the 2026 primary elections.

"[Abbott] is trying to look tough in a situation where he is getting slammed," Wu said.

Keep punching at these blustering, bluffing fascists!

The bad:

US vice-president JD Vance says Europe must spend more on Ukraine as he warned that America is “done with the funding of the war”. He also vowed that Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky will be forced to meet by Donald Trump.

Mr Vance, in a wide-ranging interview on Fox News, went on to dismiss European leaders’ calls to allow the Ukrainian president to attend the upcoming summit between the US and Russian leaders, insisting that it would not be “productive” at this point.

On Saturday, European leaders including Sir Keir Starmer jointly welcomed the meeting, which is planned for Friday in Alaska. However, they warned that any talks should see Ukraine represented and not permit any land to be ceded to Russia.

Their statement came after Mr Trump admitted the deal may involve “some swapping of territories” – a suggestion Mr Zelensky strongly rejected.

Mr Vance told Fox News that Mr Trump “has to be the one to bring these two together”, before criticising Europe for not “stepping up”.

He said: “What we said to the Europeans is simply: this is in your neck of the woods, this is in your back door. You guys have gotta step up and take a bigger role in this thing. And if you care so much about this conflict, you should be willing to play a more direct and substantial way in funding this war yourself.

“I think the president, and I certainly think that America, we’re done with the funding of the Ukraine war business. We wanna bring about a peaceful settlement of this thing, we wanna stop the killing.”

Mr Vance met with top European and Ukrainian officials at the British foreign secretary's weekend residence on Saturday to discuss how to end the war...

This bearded appendage to Trump's ass pontificating on the future of tens of millions of Ukrainians is just another stain on our country, but it could be life and death for Ukraine.  Signalling retreat from our obligations to a free and independent Ukraine and distancing ourselves from our NATO allies in the face of Putin's imperialist aggression is nothing short of blundering, epic cowardice and submission to a foreign tyrant. What incompetent, short-sighted fools we have at the highest offices.

The ugly:

Half of Republican voters would not abandon their vote for President Donald Trump if he were implicated in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.

This is according to a new survey conducted by Canadian market research firm Leger, which found that such a revelation wouldn’t sway 47 percent of Republican voters.

Trump has denied being involved in Epstein’s crimes, and no evidence has emerged to suggest otherwise.

A further 26 percent of survey respondents said they were unsure or wouldn’t answer, leaving just 27 percent who said that they would be more likely to vote for another party.

Broken down by demographic, 61 percent of 18-34-year-olds said they would be more likely to vote for another party, while just 15 percent of respondents over 55 said the same.

Previous polling has found that a plurality of Republicans approve of the way Trump has handled the Epstein case...

Well, they voted for a seditionist, convicted felon, and adjudicated sex abuser, didn't they?  Frankly, not surprising given what we know of the MAGA cult personality typology.  Lots of malevolence out there. You are who you vote for.

The Epstein / Trump Timeline Keeps Changing (UPDATED)

The pathological- liar- in- chief's Epstein timeline keeps unraveling, with the help of a book by some intrepid reporters at the Miami Herald:

Jeffrey Epstein continued to be a member of Donald Trump’s luxury private members club for more than a year after the billionaire financier was indicted, according to Mar-a-Lago membership documents seen by the authors of a book.

The president told reporters that he cut ties with Epstein after the pedophile “stole” female workers from his exclusive Florida members club, but the revelation that Epstein was allegedly still a member of the club seven years after Epstein poached Virginia Giuffre from the spa at Mar-a-Lago in 2000 raises questions over Trump’s version of events.

Epstein was a member of the club until October 2007, more than a year after he was indicted and released on bail, according to The Grifter’s Club: Trump, Mar-a-Lago, and the Selling of the Presidency. In the footnotes of their book, the team of Miami Herald journalists Sarah Blaskey, Caitlin Ostroff, Nicholas Nehamas, and Jay Weaver reported: “The authors viewed a membership list showing that Epstein’s account had been closed.” The book reports that the “membership log shows his account at the club was closed in October 2007.”

A report in the New York Post in the same month quoted a source saying he had been banned. “He would use the spa to try to procure girls. But one of them, a masseuse about 18 years old, he tried to get her to do things,” a source told Page Six. “Her father found out about it and went absolutely ape-[bleep]. Epstein’s not allowed back.”  [snip]

It is not known whether Epstein visited Mar-a-Lago while on bail. The New York Post said in the same article that Epstein denied he was banned even then and told them that he had “recently [been] invited to an event there,” although he did not name the event.

The banishment of Epstein came 15 months after he was indicted by a Florida grand jury and surrendered at the Palm Beach precinct to be charged in July 2006. Only one count of soliciting prostitution was filed against him at the time, but the case drew widespread media coverage, which disclosed allegations of his sexual contact with minors...  (our emphasis)

The book was published about 5 years ago.  Its focus, as the subtitle reveals, is on the Malignant Fascist's use of Mar-a-Lago as his center for presidential grifting and shakedowns.  Perhaps a later edition might explore the Mar-a-Lago Trump- to- Epstein pipeline of teenage female workers that has been reported in recent days (and quid pro quos, etc.).

In the meantime, the 2016 deposition of "Katie Johnson/ Jane Doe" detailing her rapes by the MF and Epstein in 1994, when she was 13 years old, can provide a stomach-churning reminder of what these two "best friends" liked to do, and why the MF so desperately wants to memory hole the Epstein files.

UPDATE: The Republican- led House Oversight Committee today issued subpoenas to turn over the Epstein files and for depositions from the Clintons and former DOJ/FBI officials:

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer issued numerous new subpoenas on Tuesday -- including one to the Department of Justice for the complete Jeffrey Epstein files and another for depositions in the coming months with former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Comer said he wants the Justice Department to turn over the "full, complete, unredacted Epstein Files" on or before Aug. 19...

DOJ won't turn over the files, redacted or not, because Trump is all over them.  We'll see if any of the depositions come in if that's the case.

Trump's Many Names In The Epstein Files

Even though the corporate cowards at Paramount/ CBS aren't taking "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" off the air until May 2026 ("for financial reasons!"), we're already feeling the loss along with millions of others.  So, you should pardon us if we tend to feature his monologues a little more than usual. Last night's was another one to treasure, as he talked about the latest Epstein files revelations and the shameful capitulation by Paramount/ CBS to the Malignant Fascist.

House Subcommittee Votes To Subpoena Epstein Files

It's not going away.  From CNN:

In a surprise move, a House Oversight subcommittee voted Wednesday to subpoena the Department of Justice for files related to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a highly contentious issue that has exposed major divisions within the Republican party.

The Epstein investigation and demands from many of President Donald Trump’s supporters for more information has roiled the House in recent days, with Wednesday’s vote amounting to a show of defiance by some House Republicans against Speaker Mike Johnson – who has attempted to tamp down on efforts to push the release of the so-called Epstein files.

As pressure mounted this week, Johnson shut the door on the possibility of a House vote on releasing information on Epstein before the August recess and moved to send lawmakers home early after it became clear that the issue was not going to fade away. Johnson has said that he supports transparency and has argued that the Trump administration should be granted space to handle the matter before Congress intervenes, pointing to the Trump administration’s push to unseal the grand jury materials related to the case.

GOP Reps. Nancy Mace, Scott Perry and Brian Jack joined with the subpanel’s four Democrats and the full committee’s ranking member Robert Garcia to approve the subpoena. House Oversight Chair James Comer will be required to sign the subpoena before it can officially be issued, according to committee rules.

The subpoena calls for the Epstein files in the Justice Department’s possession to be provided to Congress, but the names of the victims to be redacted. It also calls for communications between former Biden officials and the Justice Department related to the Epstein matter, in addition to depositions among some major figures, including Bill and Hillary Clinton and former FBI Director James Comey... (our emphasis)

It would appear Speaker "Magic Christian" Mike Johnson was caught off guard by the action.  According to a Republican source,Comer will sign the subpoena, but more questionable is whether Trump lickspittle Attorney General Pam "Blondie" Bondi would honor it.  We think not.  But, efforts by Trump and portions of MAGA world to distract and dissemble are being met with significant pushback. Votes like this and the stonewalling likely to follow will only add to the very real (and accurate) sense that Trump is all over the Epstein files and is desperately trying to cover it up.

Epstein Took The Fifth About Trump And Minors

In 2010, convicted pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was asked in a taped deposition about socializing with the perverted Malignant Fascist with underage girls.  Meidas Touch unearthed the video:

🚨🚨🚨 Jeffrey Epstein during a 2010 deposition: Q. Have you ever socialized with Donald Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18? A: Though l'd like to answer that question, at least today l'm going to have to assert my Fifth, Sixth, and 14th Amendment rights, sir.

— MeidasTouch (@meidastouch.com) July 23, 2025 at 8:31 PM

The response speaks volumes.  Of course the MF participated in Epstein's "socializing" with underage girls.  Otherwise, Epstein would have forcefully declared "no" to clear his friend, but he chose to invoke the right not to incriminate himself under the Fifth Amendment instead.

Release the unredacted files, especially those related to the MF.

Stop Talking About Epstein, Part Infinity

The worried Malignant Fascist's attempts to draw attention away from his friendship with convicted pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein just aren't working.  From Tulsi "Cruella" Gabbard's sycophantic, ridiculous attempt to deny Russia's interference in the 2016 election to get back into the MF's good graces, to his racist dog whistles about restoring the derogatory names of  the Washington and Cleveland sports teams, the MF is up against a wall.  Smarmy hypocrite Squeaker of the House Mike "Moses" Johnson even adjourned the House early to duck votes on releasing the Epstein files, which obviously have the MF in them.

Yesterday, CNN released photos taken at the MF's wedding to his second wife Marla Maples in 1993, at the opening of the Harley Davidson cafe in New York City the same year, and photos and video at Victoria's Secret events in 1997 and 1999 that clearly show Epstein and the MF chatting and socializing, underlining once again their personal relationship.  In the Harley Davidson cafe photo, the MF is hugging young Eric and Ivanka as he sits right next to the child trafficker.

The MF's bobbing and weaving, his attempts to distract and deflect will continue, and many of his deluded, insipid cult likely will go along with him.  But enough may finally, finally see the depraved, dishonest monster for who he really is.  It's a start.

The Epstein Files Coverup: Smelling A Rat

With former Trump mouthpiece/ Deputy AG Todd Blanche doing the "interviewing," does anyone else smell a rat here?

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said he is "reaching out" to Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell to find out what else she knows about the late tycoon and convicted sex trafficker.

In 2022, the British socialite was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in helping recruit underage girls for sexual abuse.

As the Trump administration attempts to draw a line under the Epstein scandal that continues to engulf the president, Blanche wrote on X that “for the first time, the Department of Justice is reaching out to Ghislaine Maxwell to ask: what do you know?"

“President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence,” he added in a statement. “If [Ghislaine] Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the DOJ will hear what she has to say."

He said he anticipated meeting with Maxwell “in the coming days.”

Democrats should demand a presence at all such meetings with Maxwell to try to head off any deals being made to, oh say, secure her freedom by covering up Trump's interactions with Epstein and his underage victims.  Better yet, get her in a hearing room under oath in front of the cameras.*  Is any of that likely to happen?  Nah.

BONUS: From Marcy Wheeler on the "deal" that Blanche may offer Maxwell to protect the MF.

*BONUS II:   House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed Maxwell to appear for a deposition.  Will wonders never cease?

The Epstein Files: "The Log Exists"

Allison Gill, the legal analyst who posts as Mueller She Wrote, has been doing excellent work on uncovering information about the FBI's review of the Epstein files, which apparently involved roughly 1,000 agents reviewing the files.  She reached out on her BlueSky account to any of these agent willing to anonymously share what they did.  Some key findings:

"At first, the analysts were told to mark nothing. This was roundly rejected by the analysts, who were then told to not think about it as releasing the information - including victims names - to the public, but to think about it as releasing it to the Attorney General. It was assumed that Bondi and Patel wanted all the information, including the victim’s names and information. Analysts were told that what would be released would be solely up to Pam Bondi. Many feared that the victim’s information would be released or used for nefarious purposes. Eventually, lawyers from the Department of Justice were assigned to the project to oversee what was being flagged for redaction.

That changed pretty quickly and the analysts were next told to mark the victim’s names for redaction. Then soon after that, they were told to mark all other Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as social security numbers and addresses. Then they were told to mark all descriptions of illicit acts for redaction. Then finally, they were instructed to keep a spreadsheet of instances when Trump was mentioned. After the spreadsheets of mentions of Trump were handed in, they were stitched together in one master list. I was not able to learn how many mentions of Donald Trump were on that master list.

As far as content, there was one confirmed mention of Donald Trump in the files reviewed by an analyst who again spoke on the condition of anonymity. Beyond that, there were other instances of Trump appearing in the files, but the number of times and to what extent is unknown.

But the log exists."  (our emphasis)

That log is something the Malignant Fascist and his enablers at the DOJ never want to make public, for the obvious reason that the MF's part of them.  Otherwise, they wouldn't be calling the files a "hoax" and telling their cult to move on.  It's also noteworthy that the first instinct of the corrupt duo of AG Pam "Blondie" Bondi and FBI head Kash "No Checks" Patel was to save the names of the victims, rather than protect them and redact that information.  Their thought was likely to get to the witnesses with some "inducement" for them to decline to come forward against their cult leader.  "But the log exists" would be the key to the MF's involvement and potential criminality.  Stay tuned.

Malignant Fascist Sues WSJ, Murdoch For Libel

The Malignant Fascist, who ordered everyone -- especially his cult members -- to STOP TALKING about his late friend and convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, is big MAD and suing the Wall Street Journal for libel over their article describing a salacious birthday card the MF sent to Epstein in 2003. Many legal experts believe that the court will toss the suit out, giving the MF a chance to play the victim for his cult. From the Associated Press:

"The suit, filed in filed in federal court in Miami, accuses the paper and its reporters of having 'knowingly and recklessly' published 'numerous false, defamatory, and disparaging statements,' which, it alleges, caused 'overwhelming financial and reputational harm' to the president.

In a post on his Truth Social site, Trump cast the lawsuit as part of his efforts to punish news outlets, including ABC and CBS, which both reached multimillion-dollar settlement deals with the president after he took them to court.

'This lawsuit is filed not only on behalf of your favorite President, ME, but also in order to continue standing up for ALL Americans who will no longer tolerate the abusive wrongdoings of the Fake News Media,' he wrote."

As an aside, who writes like this ("your favorite President, ME") who isn't mentally disturbed?  His Truth Social bloviations are almost always written in the third person, as if he's talking schizophrenically about a separate person. The AP article continues:

A spokesperson for Dow Jones, the Journal’s publisher, responded Friday night, 'We have full confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our reporting, and will vigorously defend against any lawsuit.'” (our emphasis)

Damage from a lawsuit to both of these contemptible sociopaths would be welcome. Interestingly, the filing purportedly lists the MF as representing himself, which should be a howler if he actually makes it before a judge. Stay tuned with lots of popcorn.

Trump Cons His Cult Over Epstein Grand Jury Records

To try to divert his angry cult from demanding the release of the entire file on his old friend, pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, the Malignant Fascist has directed his corrupt AG Pam "Blondie" Bondi to seek the grand jury records from Epstein's trial.   Many of his gullible cult welcomed the news, thinking that their Dear Leader was coming clean.  But, as Politico.com points out, the grand jury record won't reveal what the MF's cult is eager for, and may take months of judicial wrangling to release:

"President Donald Trump’s call to make public a subset of grand jury records stemming from the prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein falls far short of the total release of documents his supporters have demanded.

And unlike records assembled by the Justice Department and FBI, grand jury records cannot be released without the permission of the federal court responsible for overseeing the criminal case. As a result, Trump’s demand leaves the potential disclosure of new information murky, at best, and subject to a byzantine legal analysis that could take months. [snip]

....already the Justice Department is teeing itself up to redact large swaths of information from the files. DOJ top brass told the courts it would 'make appropriate redactions of victim-related information and other personal identifying information prior to releasing the transcripts.' Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who submitted the requests, did not specify what 'other' information the department would seek to shield.

As a result, even if Trump and Bondi succeed, it’s unclear whether the documents and transcripts will provide any new insight beyond what is already known about the case. That’s unlikely to satisfy the swell of MAGA supporters who in recent days have pressured the pair to release investigation records."  (our emphasis)

In their thorough article, Erica Orden and Kyle Cheney explain that the grand jury records will contain the affidavits of one or more law enforcement officials summarizing the charges and probable cause, and not the underlying documents, tapes, etc., which would be brought out at trial.  Of course, the MF's goal is to stall the process of obtaining what will be unsatisfying information for his rabid base, so that they'd tire of the chase.  But this is a festering sore for his cult, and his game playing will backfire badly, the sooner the better.

"We Have Certain Things In Common, Jeffrey"

Yesterday's Wall Street Journal published an account of a salacious birthday note that the degenerate Malignant Fascist sent to his friend, convicted pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein on Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003.  It's causing convulsions in MAGA world over the loaded language used by the MF in the note.  From WSJ's report (via NPR):

"[Epstein's partner Ghislaine] Maxwell collected letters from Trump and dozens of Epstein’s other associates for a 2003 birthday album, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

Pages from the leather-bound album—assembled before Epstein was first arrested in 2006—are among the documents examined by Justice Department officials who investigated Epstein and Maxwell years ago, according to people who have reviewed the pages. It’s unclear if any of the pages are part of the Trump administration’s recent review. [snip]

The letter bearing Trump’s name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is bawdy—like others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman’s breasts, and the future president’s signature is a squiggly Donald below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.

The letter concludes: 'Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.'" [our emphasis]

Now what "secret" could the MF possibly be referring to?  Here's the full text referred to:

“Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything,” the note began.

Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.

Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.

Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.

Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.

Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?

Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.

Donald: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret."

As expected, the MF furiously denied that it was his letter to Epstein, threatening to sue the Rupert Murdoch publication and the publication's parent company.  Some MAGAts have noted that the MF doesn't type.  Of course, he would have had his loyal Trump Organization assistant Rhona Graff type the text before he "illustrated" it with salacious scribblings for Epstein's enjoyment.  For anyone to suggest that this birthday greeting is out of character for adjudicated sexual abuser President P*ssygrabber is delusional and dishonest.

In the unlikely event that the Malignant Fascist actually sues the Wall Street Journal et. al., then the newspaper can go into the discovery process to obtain documents and statements in their defense.  And Rupert Murdoch has deep pockets, as we saw with the Dominion Voting Systems suit against them.

Those Vanishing Epstein Files

Corrupt Attorney General Pam "Blondie" Bondi, in a move that is inflaming MAGAts and boosting South Afrikaner fascist Elon "Leon" Musk's claim that the Malignant Fascist was prominently referred to in Jeffrey Epstein's files, announced that Epstein "client lists" don't exist. ABC News reports:

"A review ordered by President Donald Trump-appointed leadership of the Justice Department and the FBI found no evidence that notorious deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein kept a 'client list' of associates whom he blackmailed or conspired with to victimize dozens of women, according to a new memo reviewed by ABC News.

The department has also released hours of purported footage as part of its review, which officials say further confirms Epstein died by suicide while in custody in his jail cell in Manhattan in 2019 -- contradicting conspiracy theories long embraced or spread by allies of President Trump and others.

The memo is also likely to generate outrage among those who have claimed Epstein's known high-profile associates could be implicated in his crimes." (our emphasis)

The delusional MAGA cult obviously thought that high profile Dems would be on a list of "clients," not that their cult's Glorious Leader President P*ssygrabber would.  Now that Bondi's Department has dismissed the existence of a "client list," the speculation raised by Musk about the MF will only deepen, especially because Bondi's story has shifted 180 degrees in a few months:

Pam Bondi in February: The Epstein client list is sitting on my desk right now to review. Pam Bondi today: There is no Epstein client list and no "further disclosure" of Epstein-related material "would be appropriate or warranted."

Musk has already noted on his far-right social media platform this morning that no "pedophile arrests" have been made by the MF in connection with Epstein, so we predict the South Afrikaner won't be letting go of this story any time soon.
