Tweet Of The Day - CPAC Edition

If you're seeing your little world crumble and you want to project an image of stability and maturity at a major right- wing gathering like this weekend's Conservative Political Action Conference (NUTPAC, er, CPAC), who you gonna call to do the Keynote Address?  Why "Lonesome" Rhodes himself, Glenn "Boo Hoo" Beck (who's been having stabbing pains in his head recently -- or maybe he was just channeling Dr. Ben "Bennie the Blade" Carson?).

"What the #@!* happened?" indeed.

Wingnuts Furiously Sidestepping and Backpedaling on Norway Terrorist

Two of the intellectual giants of right-wing media, Pamela "Pammy Jugs" Geller ("Atlas Shrugs" -- and we don't give much of a damn for it either) and Glenn "Boo Hoo the Hoot" Beck (dean of crackpot radio and Glenn Beck U.), have issued their analyses of the right wing Norway terrorist. And the fault lies not in a Muslim-hating right-winger who often linked approvingly to Pammy Jugs' blog, but in... anybody who is NOT a Muslim hating right-winger who often linked approvingly to Pammy Jugs' blog and ...libruls!

These are some sick mfers.

Wingnut Wurlitzer: For Sale to the Highest Bidder

"Payola n. Slang 1. Bribery, especially the bribing of disc jockeys to promote records."

An interesting, but not shocking, article in Politico about some of the most popular hate-mongerers in the media and how they're getting paid for a plug here, an endorsement there by crackpot groups like FreedomWorks and Americans for Prosperity. Millions of dollars a year. We're talking the likes of Pills Limpballs, Sean "Heil" Hannity, Boo Hoo the Hoot Beck, and Crazy Ass Mark Levin. All men of the highest moral standards money can buy, of course. Not that any of this would matter to their loyal sheeple ("They're just workin' the free market!"). How perfect.

Bye Bye Boo Hoo

Raving paleo-right-wing numbnut Glenn "Boo Hoo the Hoot" Beck is leaving Fox "News" Channel at the end of the year, it was announced today. As good as that news is, it must be tempered by a few considerations:

1) Boo Hoo will continue creating "projects" for Fux ("creating" out of the fetid nutscapes of his lizard brain, we might add);

2) What manner of crackpot will Fux want to put in Boo Hoo's time slot? Pastor Terry Jones? Bryan Fischer? A Mama Fizzly/Coulter/ Cheney harpie? Awesome.

Great Moments in American Edumacation

"I don't think we came from monkeys. I think that's ridiculous. I haven't seen a half-monkey, half-person yet." Perfesser Glenn "Boo Hoo the Hoot" Beck, of "Beck University," on his radio show the other day. To quote Bill Maher's put down of Christine "No Dildos" O'Donnell's denial of monkey-to-human evolution, "you don't evolve in the time it would take to watch them." Also, it begs the rejoinder, "Have you looked in a mirror lately, Boo-Hoo?" Moron.

"Yet Another Pink-Faced Half-Wit"

Treading the nonexistent line this morning between satire and reality, the Onion gives us "yet another pink-faced half-wit", who shall remain name(Boo-Hoo)less. As a bonus, the photo accompanying the article shows a small passel of pink-faced half-wit sheeple. Priceless.

More Teatardin' History?

OK (hic)... we admit we're on this (hic) thing about the retelling (hic) of history by the inebri...inebriate...drunk. That's because it reminds us of (hic) the teatard/ Boo Hoo/ Winky (hick) world view and its True (hic) History themes: white victimization by blacks (hic), the French are to blame, and (hic) "Freedom comes from God!" This vid has it (hic) all!

Course Offering At Boo Hoo U?

Watching this video, we now think we know from whence the teatards and recovering alcoholic and university dean Boo Hoo the Hoot get their fractured history: beer and vodka!

Hardly Recognizable Indeed

Boo Hoo the Hoot's Million Moron March last Saturday raised the specter of Boo Hoo as the new, self-anointed leader of the Christian Right. (Certainly, Boo Hoo is a legend in his own mind.) The day after the assembly, Preacher Boo Hoo was heard on Faux News Nutwork saying he thought most Americans "couldn't recognize" the Christianity practiced by President Obama.

Well, it seems some authentic leaders of the Christian Right are having qualms about Preacher Boo Hoo, whose Mormon faith is seen as a non-Christian sect by fundamentalists, leading their sheeple. Of course, lost in the stupid is Beck having the brass nuts to question Obama's Christianity when many not- just- fundamentalist Christians would wonder about Beck's adherence to an ostensibly Christian theology that denies the infallibility of the Bible, denies the Trinity, and holds the Book of Mormon as divine and of equal value to the Bible. Preacher Boo Hoo is always eager to cast stones, so watching him take a few to his fat, empty head (not literally, of course!) will be fun sport.

Boo Hoo U

Deranged weeper and college drop-out Glenn "Boo Hoo the Hoot" Beck has found a new way to separate his sheeple from their money. The shill for gold companies (practically his last advertisers) is starting up a new, unaccredited on-line "university" he's calling, modestly, Beck University. We kid you not.

The "university" will offer high-cost misinformation in three categories: faith, hope, and charity (matching up to his faculty, Larry, Moe, and Curly). We'd like to offer a few suggestions. Boo Hoo's title? Dizzy Dean. For the "student" body nickname: The Fightin' Suckers.

"Glenn Beck - America's Historian Laureate"

Greg Grandin has a very interesting look at Boo Hoo the Hoot Beck's tenuous grasp of history, and its relationship to the radical tea bagger worldview, Newt the Poot, and all the others fueling the far-right apocalypse machine (h/t to Cheebeewonders).

A visual representation of the same "Beck knows bullshit" theme was on display on The Colbert Report last night (Colbert nails Boo Hoo as "the Pillsbury Dough Pundit"). It takes a special level of idiocy to do what Boo Hoo does, and even more to think he has something important to say.

"Dude, Where's My Car?"

While attending a Glenn "Boo Hoo the Hoot" Beck "show" in Orlando Saturday, 53 wingnuts' cars were towed out of a parking lot they believed they could park in, but in fact was prohibited. [Let us pause for a second...heeheehee...there that's better.] Some are speculating it was a prank by a fraternity at the University of Central Florida. I'm ready to pledge that bad house!

(Image: Boo Hoo has a sad because his followers' heaps were towed)

Sunday Morning Reading

Dana Milbank (WTF?!) eviscerates Boo-Hoo the Hoot Beck, and the brain-dead sheeple who've made him one of America's most admired people (WTF??!!). (By the way, check out in the penultimate paragraph who Boo-Hoo's defender and patron has been.)

O'Really vs. "Law and Order: SVU"

Poor Bill O'Really! He's upset that he's been called out in a recent episode of "Law and Order: SVU" for his history of anti-brown people hate-fanning (along with Limpballs and Boo Hoo the Hoot). Our only quibble? Where's Loopy Lou Dobbs in this equation? He's the most visible proponent of rounding up the Messicans. Well, we'll settle for this hat trick of hate being identified for who they are.

(Image: O'Really's sad: people are saying bad things about him - true things, but bad things.)

Quote of the Day

"Actually Beck is a problem of taste as well as ethics. He laughs and cries; he pouts and giggles; he makes funny faces and grins like a cartoon character; he makes earnest faces yet insists he is a clown; he cavorts like a victim of St. Vitus' Dance. His means of communicating are, in other words, so wide-ranging as to suggest derangement as much as versatility." -- Former Fux News Watch host Eric Burns, on the subject of nutball Glenn "Boo Hoo the Hoot" Beck. Burns was with Fux since it began in 1996, and was released in early 2008. He also describes Fux as a "right wing partial-news-but-mainly-opinion network." We're certain that Burns looks back on his years at Fux with considerable shame.

Boo-Hoo Tragically Lives On

More Boo-Hoo for those who can't get enough of the psychotic, porcine prick, this time from The Onion (h/t to Germantown Bureau Chief Brian).

A Classic Parody of Boo Hoo

Check out the brilliant and feisty Jon Stewart's classic parody of the deranged Fux News personality Glenn "Boo Hoo" Beck, via Media Matters. Boo Hoo had an attack of appendicitis a couple of days ago, and that gives Jon the opening for this hilarious take off on the blubbering sociopath of right wing media.

Merrie England May Be Less Merrie Now

Lachrymose loser Glenn "Boo Hoo" Beck is on the telly in Britain, thanks to Rupert "Fux" Murdoch's Sky Television, which is broadcasting Boo Hoo's show there. Alex Massie has a Brit's take on Boo Hoo and his apocalyptic glibertarianism, so different from the conservatism being practiced in Britain and elsewhere in Europe. A few choice takes:

"...[I]t's dispiriting to see quite so many decent Americans in thrall to such charlatanry..."

"...[Beck] sometimes resembles a snake oil salesman's dim-witted assistant accidentally promoted to the top job..."
