David Horowitz' "Renegade Jew" Rhetoric

Frothing far right racist loon David Horowitz craves attention and has never been shy about sharing his noxious views.   The most recent example of that comes in a headline and article in pro- Trump puke funnel Breitbart "News", where the odious Horowitz joins the Stormtrumper legions in taking aim at one of the most outspoken members of the #NeverTrump movement, the Weekly Standard's neo-con demeritus "Wee Willy" Kristol, using a foul term to describe him:
The term “Renegade Jew“ trended on Twitter on Sunday night after a Breitbart article used the phrase to describe conservative commentator William Kristol.

“Bill Kristol: Republican Spoiler, Renegade Jew Prepares Third Party Effort to block Trump’s Path to White House,” read the headline of the article by Jewish writer David Horowitz.
Here are some of the mocking Twitter reactions:

And finally,

On a more serious level, Frances Langum draws the connection between the Horowitz rhetoric and the kind of racist, virulent anti- Semitic drool coming from rabid Trump supporters.  We're clearly no fans of Wee Willy, but defining a right- wing Jew's opposition to the neo- fascist Trump as "renegade" is so far beyond the pale that it deserves all the mockery and outrage that it's getting.

Biden Not Running! (Because Kristol Says He Will)

(Mike Luckovich, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)

We can now be confident that Joe Biden will not be entering the Democratic race for President because always, unfailingly wrong Republican ratf*cker Wee Willie Kristol is "confident" Biden will be entering the race.  Thanks for clearing that up, Wee Willie!

(Ed. note:  We think the cartoon reporter above has to be CNN's relentless, agenda-driven Jim Acosta, who is making a mini- career out of speculating about Biden's intentions -- including whether he would swoop into Las Vegas to join last week's Democratic debate.  Someone, please, get him back on his meds.)

The Expert

Not that anyone should be surprised at this, but Fux "News" Sunday's Chris "Mr. Smarm" Wallace was hosting a discussion about Iraq with neocon/Likudnik buffoon Wee Willie Kristol when he said, "Bill, you certainly are an expert in this area." And he said that with a straight face! Here's a convenient rundown of how many things Wee Willie has gotten wrong on Iraq.

Just listen to what Wee Willie says, and believe the opposite to be correct -- like the Fux Network in general.

Department of Unintentional Humor

"A good time to be a conservative." So says the headline of neocon wanker Wee Willie Kristol's op-ed in the Kaplan Post. "A good time" in the sense, apparently, that losing election after election is a good time. And Wee Willie's estimation of where the "center of gravity" will be for the conservative Rethugs in 2012? With Winky, Boo Hoo and Pills, that's who. (Added irony: There's a picture of Winky resigning as governor of Alaska that accompanies Wee Willie's wank. Hee hee hee).

So many times, Wee Willie has been dead wrong in his predictions, but this time we fervently hope he's right. Adding the percentages of Americans who view that trio favorably might get you to 30% in the polls. Which would mean more good times for Wee Willie we suppose.

Whither Wee Willie Now?

Now that pater Irving Kristol is dead, what will become of his smirking scion Wee Willie?

Wingnut Correction Time

Balloon Juice captures the debunking of two recent wingnut forays into the health care reform debate. First to be debunked is the bunk-loaded Wee Willie Kristol's performance on The Daily Show, courtesy of Ezra Klein; second up for neutering is Marty Feldstein, who recently opined in the fact-check-and-editor-free pages of the WaPo. Thanks to Jon Chait for that snip and tuck.

Enjoy!

Department of Delusional Thinking

"Losing Specter may help produce greater GOP gains in November 2010, and a brighter Republican future." -- Wee Willie Kristol, commenting on Sen. Arlen Specter's switch to the Democratic Party. He extends his perfect record of being wrong on everything.

With only 21% of Americans identifying themselves as "Republicans," the purge of the few remaining moderates from the Party of No can't help but drive those numbers down. . .will they be happy with a "pure" right wing party with 15% or 10% membership? It looks that way, and more power to them.

A Wee Willie Vs. Pills Smackdown?

William "Wee Willie" Kristol, the neocon editor of the Weekly Standard, seems to be throwing down the gauntlet to Rethuglican Dear Leader Rush "Pills" Limpballs in an interview with "Fox and Friends." "Look, Americans wish a new President well. They hope his policies succeed, as they should," Wee Willie opined, in direct opposition to the orders of the Dear Leader that every Rethug should want Obama to fail. Shocking!!

How long will it take for Wee Willie to renounce his heresy, and beg Dear Leader Limpballs' forgiveness, but only after receiving the obligatory pie in the face? Only time will tell. Tick, tick, tick. . . .

"Cheap Shots" and "Bad Faith Economics"

As usual, our favorite Nobel laureate Paul Krugman hits the Rethug nail on its head. In this morning's column, Krugman shows us how the Rethugs are trying desperately to discredit the recovery plan through "cheap shots" and "bad faith economics," and why (hint: think 21st century FDR).

Also on the NT Times op/ed front this morning, Wee Willie Kristol acknowledges the "end of a conservative era" while we acknowledge that in italic script under his last sentence is written "This is William Kristol's last column." So let's cheer the end of a Kristol era as well (Yaaaay!), although it will mean the Times will have to lay off all the fact-checkers they had to employ to clean up after Wee Willie's columns every Monday.

And The Pie Was Delicious

President-elect Obama's dinner last Tuesday night with right-wing pundits at George "Quill" Will's house was an off-the-record event. Or so we thought. Along comes William "Wee Willie" Kristol to spill the, um, caviar. He was on the dreadful "Fux and Fiends" show, chortling about how the wingers had a dinner with Obama, while progressive pundits had a meeting in Obama's conference room the next morning, no food served. "They had some coffee from the machine in the office," Wee Willie observed, smirking.

True, Wee Willie. But looking at it another way, the wingers had to offer dinner to entice Obama to meet with them, while the liberal pundits were welcomed without bearing "gifts." Looking at the future, we think that the progressive media will be attending a lot more White House functions than Wee Willie and gang.

The Third Annual Hackwhackers Awards!!

Without further delay, here's what you've been clamoring for: The Third Annual Hackwhackers Awards!!

Don't Call Us, We Won't Call You Award
- To the "Party Unity My Ass" (PUMA) vaginal warriors for being willing to see John McClueless elected in order to assuage their sense of frustrated entitlement over Hillary Clinton's failed campaign. All twelve of you are now eligible to have your numb skulls liposuctioned.

Now You Get It Award
- To former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan, whose tenure included the unregulated rise of the subprime market, which was a prime mover in the recent economic collapse. Greenspan, whom Ronnie Raygun installed at the Fed back in the '80s, said of his preaching the conservative mantra of deregulation for 18 years, "I made a mistake." That's one Rethug numbnut down, 50-plus million to go.

Extraordinary Accomplishments in Punditry Award
- (Tie) To Wee Willie Kristol, who said on "Fox News Sunday," December 17, 2006: "If [Hillary Clinton] gets a race against John Edwards and Barack Obama, she's going to be the nominee. Gore is the only threat to her, then...Barack Obama is not going to beat Hillary Clinton in a single Democratic primary. I'll predict that right now." Wee Willie continues to purvey his special brand of crackpottery in the NY Times (though perhaps not for long). And... Charles "Kraphammer" Krauthammer on "Fox News," August 11, 2008: "It starts with taking over of South Ossetia, which has already happened. It goes on to the destruction of the Georgia armed forces, which is now happening. And the third [development] will probably be the replacement of the elected government, which is pro-Western, with a puppet government, which will probably follow in the next week or two." None of this, of course turned out to be true, but Kraphammer wasn't interested in truth; he wanted to create a foreign policy hot spot that his boy McClueless could parachute into to prove what a great leader he is. Brilliant! (h/t to the WaPo, Dec. 28)

Kristol Ball Award
- To McClueless economic advisor Donald Luskin for saying, on September 14, 2008: "Anyone who says we're in a recession, or heading into one - especially the worst one since the Great Depression - is making up his own private definition of 'recession'" The following day, Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy and - you know the rest. Since Wee Willie retired this trophy (formerly known as "The Stupidest Man Alive Trophy") by the body of his work, it's henceforth named in his honor (though we always know who the "real" winner is!). (h/t to WaPo, Dec. 28)

Hack(s) of the Year
- A group award to the "mainstream TeeVee media" for once again proving against all hope that it could ignore or minimize the critical issues of a once- in- many- generations watershed election and instead find the most meaningless, lowest- common- denominator, brain dead things to focus on (we're looking at you, George Steponaflagpinopolous!). It was only until they couldn't possibly fail to notice the economy collapsing around them that they paid minimal attention to what might be best for America (hint: not Joe "the plumber"). How much longer before these cretins go the way of the print media?

We would be remiss if we didn't note the honest work of the much- maligned Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson, whose interviews with Gov. Winky helped expose her, um, shortcomings to the American people.

To all those we neglected to honor, we'll get you next year! To this year's losers - we mean "winners" - keep on hacking!

Quote of the Day

". . .the Republicans still seem to be listening to Bill Kristol, the Wile E. Coyote of political strategems, and are intent on foisting this national punchline on their party in 2012. Please. Do it. When has Bill Kristol ever been wrong?" - - tbogg, commenting on the Winking Wonderwoman of Wasilla's bizarre hold on Wee Willie Kristol's and the neocon right wing's fantasies.

Wee Willie Kristol, Too Proud To Serve

Salon's Alex Koppelman points out the hypocrisy of neocon chickenhawk William "Wee Willie" Kristol, who devotes his column in today's New York Times to the anti-McSame ad depicting a mother who won't let her child serve in Iraq in the future. Self awareness didn't stand in the way of Wee Willie when he wrote his piece. The fact is that Wee Willie thought that he had better things to do than serve in the military (like 5 Deferment Dick Cheney), and was a leading cheerleader to send other peoples' family members off to Iraq. The smarmy little creep hasn't sacrificed anything, and never will, but he'll see to it that you do the sacrificing for him. That's the neocon chickenhawk credo.

Buyer's Remorse

The New York Times' "public editor" Clark Hoyt has a column in which he states that the New York Times made a mistake in giving William "Wee Willie" Kristol an op-ed position a couple of weeks ago. Nearly 700 messages were received by the New York Times, and all but one was critical of the hiring. Wee Willie notoriously suggested in 2006 that the New York Times should be prosecuted for divulging that the Bush Assministration was sifting through international banking records looking for terrorists. Hoyt writes because of Wee Willie's contempt for the First Amendment, "this is not a person I would have rewarded with a regular spot in front of arguably the most elite audience in the nation." Wee Willie also refused to talk to Hoyt about this matter prior to publication.

Too late. You've got Wee Willie for a year. Enjoy.

Wee Willie, Big-Time(s) Columnist

Wee Willie Kristol, ace pie-catcher and now the New Yawk Times' latest blunder, debuted on the op/ed page Monday, taking Nixon apologist William Safire's slot. (Wee Willie, you might recall, was canned at Time, where he was inexplicably replaced with a Bush-league wanker, Ramesh "I Google Myself, Therefore I Am" Ponnuru.)

M.J. Rosenberg at TPM Cafe says it wasn't pretty (Rethug National Committee talking points seldom are). Andrew Rosenthal, the useful tool, continues to deconstruct the paper of James Reston and Russell Baker. Someone stop him before he pinches off another one.

UPDATE: Wee Willie couldn't complete his first poo flinging without making an error. As is being noted far and wide, he misidentified winger Michelle "Cheerleader" Malkin as the source of a quote in his column.

The NYT and Nepotism

NYT's Rosenthal with J-Pod: NYT's Next Hire?

The New York Times' announcement over the holiday season that neocon wanker William "Wee Willie" Kristol was going to foul the op-ed pages of that formerly great newspaper set off some fireworks. We're wondering how many media platforms does this smirking chickenhawk need to throw his b.s. from. Although he was just dropped from Time magazine, he has Fux News, the 'Weakly' Standard, and other right wing orifices from which to toot his small horn. And why Wee Willie, since there are so many winger hacks to choose from?

In the background of this story is the undertone of nepotism. A NYT decisionmaker in the Wee Willie hiring was Andrew Rosenthal, son of former NYT biggie A.M. Rosenthal; Wee Willie's the son of neocon figure Irving "Cloudy" Kristol. They join wingnut John Podhoretz, son of crazy "Stormin'" Norman Podhoretz, who wants to bomb Iran yesterday, in the Great Hall of Nepotism. If their last names were Johnson or Smith, they'd be selling used cars in Topeka.

Lies That Are Kristol Klear

On Sunday's Fux News gab fest, neocon putz William "Wee Willie" Kristol made the claim that the 2003 Iraq invasion led Libya to end its nuclear weapons program, and Iran to freeze its program. As Think Progress notes, news accounts at the time of Libya's decision give credit years of diplomatic negotiations with Libya and numerous commercial incentives, not the invasion. Similarly, Iran gained influence and power within the region following the invasion; they weren't forced into a defensive crouch, pleading for mercy with the occupying army next door. As North Korea demonstrated, to deter an attack, it's advantageous for a country to acquire nuclear weapons.

Wee Willie's War

William "Wee Willie" Kristol's "we're winning in Iraq" op-ed poop in last week's WaPo has elicited more that 200 expressions of outrage, disbelief and laughter. Except of course from the Presidunce, who liked it.

Kristol's a smarmy, self-satisfied little neocon who appears regularly on Fux News Sunday, the Bush Assministration's official outlet, and who always has clever little things to say about "Defeatist Democrats" and other opponents of Bush's war in Iraq. He's never once apologized for the consistent wrongness of his views, particularly over Iraq. But he has a chance to get a whiff of the mess he's helped to propagandize, since the little putz is going to Iraq (follow ThinkProgress link). Too bad they won't issue him a helmet, uniform, and rifle over there so that he can help us "win". They won't because they have standards, after all.

Wee Willie's World

Think Progress has a telling side-by-side comparison of the "official" intelligence on how the surge is going in Iraq, compared to the "artificial" intelligence represented by neocon wingnut extraordinaire William "Wee Willie" Kristol. National Intelligence Office Deputy Director Thomas Fingar indicates that the most optimistic view is that the surge has not had a significant effect on reducing the violence in Iraq. Of course, the much better informed Wee Willie begs to differ. He thinks things are going much better that we expected. We're actually winning. Then that means that Wee Willie can visit Baghdad and stroll around for a few hours, without escort, to bask in the calm that the surge has brought, right? C'mon, Wee Willie, put your willie where your big mouth is.
(Photo: Wee Willie receiving the "Cream Pie Award" from a grateful public)

Update: Try to catch Wee Willie's self-delusional essay in the 7/15 WaPo explaining why he's betting Dumbya will be a successful preznit in the end. It's an extension of his dead-ender rationalization and cherry-picking noted above.
